Antique leather hat box with top hat by C. Anderssons, Malmö, Sweden, c. 1900

This set comprising a hat box and top hat by the renowned hat-maker C. Anderssons is complete. Over the past 120 years, there have been three owners who have signed their names inside (as was customary at the time). The original fabric lining is present and undamaged. C. Anderssons was an exclusive fashion boutique and long-established hatmaker (1890–1920).
Condition: The top hat and hat box are in good condition. The seams of the hat box are firm and sturdy; the leather has no holes, etc. One leather strap is damaged (can be replaced); the other is missing a short section (can be made to match). The top hat is in good condition, with no damage, and features a leather sweatband.
