Antique WMF bowl with handle, circa 1910

A very finely crafted Art Nouveau bowl by WMF. There is a small engraved inscription on one side near the lower rim, including a date (4 June 1914), which suggests that this bowl was a gift. The metal of the bowl is silver-plated and the glass insert features an engraved wave pattern in the centre, bordered by dots on either side. The base bears the well-known and period-correct WMF ostrich mark.
Condition: For a bowl that is just over 110 years old, it is in good condition. The metal is not bent anywhere and the glass insert is in perfect condition. There are signs of wear consistent with its age and a tiny dent on the metal rim.
