A pretty little purse from the second half of the 19th century. Made of iron, celluloid (Ivorin - imitation ivory) and silver inlay (twigs with leaves and a swallow). The interior has not survived the nearly 200 years, but the exterior exemplifies the artistic and craftsmanship of the 19th century.
