Antique octagonal Edwardian mirror, circa 1910, with early signs of desilvering

Magnificent Edwardian wall mirror with pearl edge decoration and carvings. Dark oak and octagonal mirror with bevelled edges. After around 110 years, the silver plating on the back has begun to peel off in places, revealing cloudy areas. This makes the mirror a unique piece of wall art. We include two new hooks and a chain (1 metre) with the mirror so that you can decide for yourself whether you want to hang the mirror horizontally or vertically.
Condition: Good condition, everything stable. 2 small areas of damage (see photos).
