Old walking stick, 1935–1945, with silver-plated and solid silver appliqués (835)

Impressive walking stick with silver-plated knob handle by WMF, a middle ring made of solid 835 silver (hallmarked), featuring engravings of two peacocks (see photos), and a silver-plated cap with decorations at the tip. The tip of the walking stick is made of iron with an openwork ‘basket’ surrounding the tip. All in all, a very elaborately crafted walking stick made of light hardwood.

Condition: Slight signs of wear on the metal applications, the wood shows heavier signs of wear but no damage.
